Thanks to the parents/guardians who attended the Camp briefing in April.  Below is a recap of the Camps and locations.  COL Pruitt and SFC Jackson will be located at the FAU Boca location. 
 
HBOI – H2O to Go (FAU Jupiter)
 
  • Report/drop off time is Sunday, June 9th at 4:00 pm at the Jupiter Campus (
     
    5353 Parkside Dr, Jupiter, FL 33458)
  • Uniform is civilian clothes for the cadets
  • Cadets will be allowed to keep their cell phones
  • Cadets must bring own blanket, sheets, and pillow (not provided) sleeping bag is good also.
  • There is a written assignment that is to be e-mailed to the instructor before arrival
  • Cadets who meet Dual Enrollment Eligibility criteria will receive 3 college credits 
  • Pick up time is Friday, June, 14th at 4:00pm at the Jupiter Campus
  • Email COL Pruitt when child is dropped off and picked up at Jupiter Campus: derek.pruitt@browardschools.com
  •  
  • FAU STEM – BOCA Campus 
 
  • Report/drop off time is Monday, June 10th at 7:00 am at FAU Boca Campus (777 Glades Rd, Boca Raton, FL 33431)
  • Uniform is ACUs to be issued by the JROTC Program and appropriate civilian clothes for the cadets
  • Cadets must bring their own sheets, blanket, and pillow (not provided this year); sleeping bag is okay also.
  • Cadets will be allowed to keep their cell phones
  • Cadets who meet Dual Enrollment Eligibility criteria will receive 1 college credit 
  • Pick up time is Friday, June, 14th at 12:00pm at the FAU Boca Campus where the cadets were dropped off
  • Email COL Pruitt when child is dropped off and picked up at FAU Boca Campus: derek.pruitt@browardschools.com
     
     
     
Adventure Camp (Camp Flaming Arrow)
 
  • Report/drop off time is Monday, June 10th at 7:00 am at Hollywood Hills High School AutoBay parking lot (5400 Stirling Road, Hollywood, FL 33021)
  • The bus traveling to Camp Flaming Arrow will depart at 8:00 am (Please don’t be late)
  • Uniform is ACUs to be issued by the JROTC Program and appropriate civilian clothes for the cadets
  • Cadets must bring their own sleeping bag; cadets can pick up a green ground mat from the JROTC portables (SFC Jackson)
  • Cadets will not be allowed to use cell phones at this camp. All cell phones will be collected until the end of camp
  • The JROTC Booster Club will pay the $10 for the cadet’s camp shirt
  • Pick up time is Thursday, June, 13th at 4:00pm at the Hollywood Hills High School parking lot

If you have additional questions, please don’t hesitate to contact SFC Jackson or myself.  If your child has not submitted their packet, I need the packet by Friday morning.  Your child must have medical insurance, I need a copy of the medical insurance card.  The district has an accidental group policy that covers all cadets for accidents at camp only and not regular medical coverage.
